Started the year off by exploring the Monterey tidepools. Sadly, I found this little guy sitting out of water, a little dried up. I think someone must have peeled him off a rock and didn’t put him back in time for him to stick back on and survive low tide. Please be kind to tidepool inhabitants, friends. Seastars are increasingly rare on the California coast, so we need to be extra responsible if we want them to bounce back.
